Rates and registration terms

It is important to note that:

We do not offer a monthly payment option.

Your file must be complete to reserve your room.

We respect the first come, first-served rule.

A complete file includes the signed contract and regulations as well as the first payment.

International students must also provide a copy of their study visa upon registration.

A $500 deposit and a $100 file opening fee will be charged upon registration.

Some exclusions to consider:

The holiday period is not included in the contract.

*Your personal items may remain in your room during the holiday break.

Students wishing to stay at the Residence during the holiday period must sign a contract at the reception desk before November 20, 2026, and pay an additional $275.

Residence students not registered for the holiday period must leave their accommodation by December 20, 2026, at noon, and may return starting January 2, 2027.

Visa or Mastercard (2.9% surcharge).

Select “Saint Paul Residence” as the account name in your bill list and enter RES + your student number as the reference number.

What is the deposit for?

The deposit (or security deposit) you pay for your accommodation is mainly used to cover potential damages or unpaid fees at the end of your stay. For example:

  • Repairing damages to furniture or walls.
  • Covering unpaid rent or bills.
  • Extra cleaning if the accommodation is not returned in good condition.

If everything is in order when you leave your room, the deposit will be refunded within the timeframe defined in your contract.

Cancellations and Terminations

Cancellations and terminations of contracts may be subject to fees. For all details, see the Cancellation and Termination Policy. If you want to cancel your Residence application or withdraw from the Residence, you must submit a request to info@saintpaulresidence.ca. Any cancellation or termination made by phone will not be accepted.
